Zero Turbo Charge Update.

It's been a real rollercoaster this last couple of months for TC.

The second of the two Fenland Quarter Horse Circuit Shows brought mixed blessings.  On the positive side TC gained his first AQHA points in Hunter under Saddle with a half point in the Novice Amateur Division with myself, the newly married Mrs Powley!  Colleen Gates secured the other half point in the Open Division both of these classes can be veiwed at www.youtube.com on the NiftyQH Channel.

However, after having to pull TC up on day three of the show for the second time this year, this triggered a trip to the vets for routine blood tests.

TC has been diagnosed as aneamic and not only that was showing elevated levels of Lactic Acid.  The vets are convinced that this is not major but, he is now being managed on Equitop Myoplast and Red Cell.  Good news is we are seeing a marked improvement in his way of going, top line and muscle definition. TC is also now fitted with 3rd Millenium pads to help that heel spread on both front feet and now showing rapid improvement.

This new found flexibility has meant that TC found he needed to rebalance the lope and Canter, we have been working to help him with this and are now looking forward to the AQHA UK Championships and Breed Show next week!!

We will update you with the resultas as soon as we can.
